The museum has joined more than 1,800 museums nationwide in this summer’s Blue Star Museums program. Blue Star Museumsparticipants give free admission to all active-duty military members and their families through Labor Day.
“The Blue Star Museum program gives us the opportunity to show our appreciation for the dedication and service of our military men and women and thank their families for supporting them,” said Wally Parks NHRA Museum Curator Greg Sharp.
Currently on exhibit are a number of collections that would interest both collectors and non-collectors, including Neon and the American Road, Moon: Six Decades of a Hot Rodding Eye-Con, and Cobra 50th Anniversary.
NHRA Museum is open Wednesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. During Labor Day weekend, Los Angeles County Fair hours of operation and admission prices will be observed. Please call the Museum for more information, 909-622-2133.
Military ID must be presented at time of visit. Military personnel and up to five family members are allowed for free per visit.
